I just woke up after a long night photographing Danielle and Ben's Wedding Reception. Here are some quick pictures from the event, I intend on posting more later once I've had a chance to go through them a bit better! It was tricky working in the dim lite Travelodge but thanks to my new flash, it worked out great.

1st of June, Wedding Season is HERE!
Well the crappy weather is more or less behind us and now we can garden, swim, camp, and get married. . . I have my first shoot coming up next weekend and I can`t wait. I`have two weddings to shoot per month, which is the most that I book unless there is special circumstances.
I can`t wait to post new pics on my blog/website.
Stay Tuned!

The Blackhole that is Chaplin, SK
Well I'm almost done my work in Chaplin, SK. It was supposed to take six days, it's been three weeks. Nevertheless, the money was nice and I got to see some nice wildlife on the way to and from work. I'm getting excited that wedding season is upon us. I'm all booked up till September with weddings, family get togethers, and trips to the lake. My first wedding is on June 12th, I can't wait!

Wedding Photography Locations in Regina
Arguably, the most important pictures at a wedding are the pictures of the bridal party. These pictures are usually taken after the ceremony, and before the reception. Regina is full of great locations for these special photos. Here is a quick list of places to consider:
Wascana Park - the old staple, it has great gardens, trees, and water features. And it's enormous!
Legislative Building - A great place to take pictures, there is great dramatic architecture, and the lighting isn't too bad either. Make sure to clear this location in advance with the front desk.
Regina Floral Conservatory - Sometimes forgotten, this little gem has been a wedding photographers staple, it's particularily good in the winter, when flower gardens are in short supply...
Waterfall Park - this little park is a great place. The waterfall adds drama to the photos and the adjacent playground can make for some great "goofing around" pictures.
Regina's Warehouse District - these can make some EXCELLENT urban settings, your wedding pictures will be unique and powerful.
Well that's all for now, I'll maybe update this post later, but the dog needs out so I best be going!

Sunny at 7:30?!
I woke up around 7:30ish today and noticed that the sun was out. How is this possible? Somehow the whole winter just flew by, except the day that the house was buried overnight in 5 feet of snow. I'm glad that spring is almost here but I'm not looking forward to the amount of work that I'll have shortly. You see, I work for a civil engineering firm and we're "Very" busy in the summer.
But All is well I suppose, atleast now the dog actually wants to go outside and "play music":
