It was a breezy morning at 6AM last weekend, but we got some really great sunset engagement shots. (something that I have never done before!)
Here are a handful of the shots from the shoot in Regina SK:

Sara & Nevin's Regina Engagement Shoot
Well today was hotter than you know what here in Regina SK, luckily, I did this shoot yesterday when it wasn't so bad. Sara & Nevin are being married very shortly, unfortunately I'm not doing the photography for that... I did get to do the engagement photography for this fun couple. We had a great time at Wascana park, here are some shots:

Pam & Mitch Regina Engagement Shoot
I thought spring was here? I guess I was wrong! In any event, I got to spend the first day of 'spring' in Regina with Pam & Mitch taking some great engagement photos for them. It was cold so we spent some of the shoot inside the College Building in Regina. (Which was actually 'too' warm). Here are some of my favourites from the day:

Regina Winter Engagement
I had the cool (pardon the pun!) pleasure of taking engagement photos with Jessica & Shawn this weekend in Regina SK. It was nice lighting, and warm, but the wet snow was a little annoying. Two out of three ain't bad! Sometimes the Regina weather can be a bit crazy but I still think that we got a lot of great engagement photos. We went to the floral conservatory and the TC Douglas Building. Once that was done, we went out to Wascana Park and finished the Engagement Shoot in the snow. Here are some pictures from the shoot, check the website for more:

Krista & Steve's Regina Engagement Shoot
This last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Krista and Steve. I've had a lot of fun doing engagement photography in Regina this year and this shoot proved to not be an exception. We took pictures at the legislative building, an old alley, some railroad tracks, and at a playground in Regina. I think my favourite pictures are from the alley, Krista showed this particular alley to me and I will make sure to revisit it at a later date... Here are some pictures:

Quick Shot from Krista & Steve's Engagement Shoot
Today I went out with Krista and Steve to do their engagement shoot in Wascana Park in Regina SK. It was a "Beautiful Regina Day" as Mayor Pat Fiacco would put it, especially since it's November 7th! I like shooting in Wascana Park but we also toured around Regina and found a few other places to do some neat engagement shots.
I might be busy this week so just in case I can't get the photos up till next weekend I thought I'd submit one "teaser shot":
More to follow!

Regina Engagement Photography Locations
It seems like fall is the time of year that everyone is getting engagement photography done in Regina Saskatchewan. There are a lot of good locations for engagement photography in Regina, if you know where to look. Many of my clients are waiting for the leaves to turn before we go out and do an engagement session.
Here are some great places in Regina for engagement shoots, especially once the leaves start to turn colour:

Here are some great places in Regina for engagement shoots, especially once the leaves start to turn colour:
- Wascana - There are many nooks and crannies that are off the beaten path. The park looks really good in late September.
- Kiwanis Park - This is a favourite but many of the trees are coniferous so the leaves aren't as big of a deal in this park.
- Along Wascana bike path - There are a lot of places along this extensive bike/walking path. If you're doing your own engagement photos it could be a fun day of biking around looking for some nice spots.
- University of Regina - This is a great spot and you'll have the option of some indoor pictures as well. The Wascana also runs along the border of the campus and there are some really neat pieces of "art" around the campus as well.
- City of Regina Parks - These are all over, with varying greenery and scenery.
- Government House - The facility has some really nice garden areas and areas with benchs to sit and take pictures. Many of the trees here are coniferous though.
- RCMP Museum - This is a good spot and the grounds outside are well manicured. This works especially well if someone in the couple is in, or aspiring to be in, the RCMP.
