Strasbourg Photography

Last weekend it was a little chillier than this weekend.  Amy and I went out and got some shots that show some of the chilliness in and around Strasbourg SK.  Early spring anyone????

Strasbourg, SK Christmas Shoot

Today Amy and I went out to take Christmas pictures for the Mohr family here in Strasbourg, SK.  The shoot went well and the weather agreed.  The kids were sick though so we had our hands full trying to get smiles! Here are some shots from the shoot:

Galger Winter Family Photos

This afternoon was a little chilly in Strasbourg SK for family photos.  The Galger family decided to take a few pictures inside against my white background before venturing outside.  It was a lot of fun and we got some good photos.  It was certainly a change of pace from the engagement shoots that I've been doing lately.  The two grand-daughters, Anna and Hailey, were definitely a bit of a handful!

Here are some photos from the cold Strasbourg day:

Good Locations for Pictures Around Strasbourg, SK

Strasbourg is where my fiance, Amy, lives at the moment.  I'm going to be moving there once we're married in June of 2011.  It's a great little town and actually has a lot of amenities because it serves all the resort communities on Last Mountain Lake.  Just so everyone knows, I'll still be serving Regina and still won't charge mileage for Regina and area once the move is complete.

Anyways, I wanted to write a blog today about some great places around Strasbourg and the Last Mountain Valley for taking great photos:
  • Elevators of Strasbourg and other small towns
  • Farmers fields - Get permission!
  • The amazing skies
  • Observation points along Last Mountain Lake - the one 5 kilometers north of Craven for instance
  • Bulyea Corn Maze
  • Strasbourg Museum
  • Creek east of Lumsden
Hopefully these places give you some new places to shoot this summer!

Upcoming contest

Hello everyone,

I will be holding an upcoming contest at a local business in Strasbourg, SK(the town where my fiance lives and where I often live/visit). I don't want to spoil it but the prize is going to something that you're really gonna want to hang on your wall(think BIG).

Stay tuned!
