Amanda and Her Little Puppy!

Amanda named her dog after that big hairy guy off of Harry Potter.  Well the dog isn't big but he certainly is hairy. . . He had a lot of energy and it was a bit difficult to get some photos of him but we managed to calm him down and came away with some great shots:

Nicole & Brett's Regina Sk Wedding Photos

The day started off really hot and really windy.  I was a little worried about this outdoor Regina wedding...  Luckily, the wind died down and the clouds rolled in!  Nicole and Brett were a pleasure to photograph.  We started around 9am and didn't get out of there till 11pm!  It was a long day, but a lot of fun.  Here are some samples of the great wedding photos they came away with:

Unique places to Take Wedding Photos in Regina SK

This year I've been blessed to have some really neat clients.  Thanks to some of their ideas, and a few of my own, I've been lucky enough to take photos at some really neat places this year.  Here are some ideas of some off the beaten track places in Regina:
  1. Casino Regina - Clear it with security atleast a day beforehand though, or else good luck!
  2. Karate Dojo - As that what they are called??? Anyways, makes for great photos!
  3. Buffalo Days / One of the smaller fairs in Regina - these are really great, I've always wanted to do engagement or wedding photos but it just hasn't worked out yet!
  4. Roughrider Game / Taylor Field - Discuss this with their office first!  How can you get more Regina though!
  5. Warehouse District - GREAT place to take wedding photos in Regina.
  6. Old Building Just off Deifenbaker - I think this used to be an old curling rink.  Now it's all beaten up but it makes for dramatic photos.
That's all that I can think of now!  If you have any good ideas, let me know and we'll make it happen!  Or hit me up on twitter ( @LMP_Dave ) with your ideas.

My wife and I just got back from a long, but super fun, day with Christine & Tyler.  Part of their wedding photography package was a photobooth.  All of their friends and family were a tonne of fun, here are some photos from the photobooth (photos of the wedding will be up once we're done going through all of them!).  Also, you can see all of the photos at http://www.facebook.com/lastmountainphotography (don't forget to like us!):

Tina & Logan's Regina Engagement Photoshoot

Tina & Logan made the trip to Regina SK from Coldlake AB to have their engagement photos done.  It was probably a long boring drive, which maybe caused them to have pent up photo goodness inside of them??  We did most of the photos around Wascana as well as near Darke Hall.  We got some awesome engagement shots and they were a great couple to shoot.  I can't WAIT for their wedding next year!  Enjoy the photos:

Sarah & Jordan's Regina SK Wedding Photos

It's not everyday that I get to see a bride beat up her groom on a wedding day. . . that usually comes after the marriage...  This Regina wedding photoshoot got a little crazy but we all had a lot of fun, and I got to do something I've never done before: take wedding party photos in a boxing ring!  The wedding was set in Regina.  The ceremony was at the Sandman Hotel's courtyard/gazebo and the reception was at the Italian club.

It all made for great wedding photos, here are some samples:

Herrington Family Regina Photoshoot

The Herrington family was a ton of fun to work with, and they showed me a new spot to take pictures!  I love when people show me new places, and this park was an absolute gem, truly one of Regina's best photo spots.  Here are some photos from the session:
