Finally got my new Landscape photography Lens!

I just completed my "Nikon Trinity" today by the purchase of a 14-24mm f2.8 lens (the little stubby lens on the left).  Normally I don't blog about this on here but I'm super excited because there are some photos that I'll be able to do that I couldn't before this lens.  Not to mention that it will be a great landscape lens! (an area that I want to expand into more and more!).

A Perfect Day

It was actually a really cold Regina day.  You'd never know it from the wedding photos.  The majority of them done in a shady/wind protected corner of the legislative building.  I always tell clients when I meet them about their wedding, "Even if ther weather in Regina is awful, we're get some great wedding shots".  I think you'll agree:

Ali & Troy's Regina Wedding Photos

It was great to be back at the Delta in Regina as almost a year ago, I got married there!  This time, though, it was to celebrate Ali & Troy's wedding.  The couple was great to work with and all of their friends made it really easy for Amy and I to photograph them.  We got some really great shots and had a great time:

A Young Family

I met up with these two and wonderful little boy early on a Sunday afternoon.  It turned out we actually had a lot in common and proceeded to visit, take photos, and have a great time.  There boy was great in front of the camera (which isn't always the case for kids his age!) and we got some great shots of this new family:

Lindsey & Curtis' Lumsden SK Wedding

The weather really worked out for this wedding and we got to do lots of great outdoor shots despite what the weather could have been like!  The wedding day started in Lipton SK then we moved through the Qu'Appelle Valley on our way to Lumsden.  It was nice doing a wedding in a new location and I think you'll agree that we got some great photos:
